Error when trying to purchase game pass deal for $1

I have a deal on my home screen for game pass for 3 months for $1, but every time i try to use it, it tells me something went wrong.

I only had 3 months of xbox live when I purchased the $1 deal, so it changed it to 6 months total. However if I would have purchased a year or two of xbox live first, then the $1 game pass deal I would have gotten a way better deal.

I see this error when I try to add my paypal. I'm trying to get that '1 month for $1' deal, and I believe it's not offered on this site. So I don't try and purchase something and then add the paypal.

There's a conversion rate when you swap from XBL Gold or Game Pass to Game Pass Ultimate, there used to be a limited time deal where it would convert it at a 1:1 ratio when Game Pass Ultimate first launched but I don't think that applies anymore.

This does still apply and is not attached to any promotion. So if you apply the 12 months of Gold first and then purchase Ultimate it will upgrade at 1:1. It doesn't matter if you previously had Ultimate or bot.
