Error when trying to install on an external drive.

Hi, sorry for that issue, the problem is the external hard drive, for some reason (I don't know why), the games that require Administrator approval have issue on external drive.

Thanks for the answer. External hard drive it is not the problem in my case. While trying to find a solution to this Xbox Game pass for PC / Windows Store error I did reinstall Windows 10 on my iMac's internal hard drive. The problem with error 0x8007001f
persists even when Windows 10 is installed on the internal hard drive.

Hello try selecting a different option for it to install. If you have external hard drive switch to internal...or vice versa. Is there any error messages coming up when you try to install?

Performed the in-place upgrade:

- Still can't install anything on my external drive

- Same error when trying to remove the gaming service package with powershell

Could be the external hard drive causing the issue then it won't be the first time I seen errors appearing after updates on external hard drives. Try installing it on internal drive instead if you can?.
