Error when purchasing xbox developer mode.

Whenever i try to purchase developer mode it keeps saying something went wrong and when i try to contact support on the website because it gives me the option to do so whenever the error pops up it says i have to select a workplace but i am unable to do so as there are none for me to select. I know for sure it's not me typing my card details incorrectly because i've attempted to intentionally type the details incorrectly and it hasn't given me that message and i know for sure the card has enough money on it to make the purchase, in addition to this the card in question is not a prepaid gift card so it shouldn't have issues on that front so what could possibly be the issue and how could I potentially solve it.

To activate developer mode I need to buy licence first and I have different problem, I can add payment method. But when I use it I get error. Hi,

When your console is in developer mode, you can only use apps and games designed for developer mode. To play your Xbox games and apps you need to exit dev mode. This is how it is meant to work.

Once you've purchased developer mode it's yours to enter and exit whenever you wish, you won't have to pay again.

Where did you hear it was going to be free? I find that extremely unlikely that they would ever do such a thing

Just so that you're aware, developer mode is specifically to develop your own software. Any other uses is a violation of terms of service and can lead to account and hardware bans.
