    According to the Microsoft Store, my Gears 5: Hivebusters isn't updating properly. My issue is that if I go to the xbox app and check on Gears 5, it's perfectly fine. In fact, I can even play Gears 5 just fine, including the Hivebusters DLC. It's not game breaking for me so I haven't been too worried as to actually come here and post. Is there any way to fix this?

    The error code is: 0x80073CF9

    I attempted to check on https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/games-apps/troubleshooting/troubleshoot-games-windows-10 and the "Error codes" link that is located under the "Error message?" but didn't find it.

    I figured it out.

    In case anyone is having the same issue, what I did was click on get updates which prompted Gears 5: Hivebusters to attempt to update again and prompting another error status. However, this time the Xbox (Beta) app prompted a notification saying that Gears 5: Hivebusters didn't download correctly (this notification never appeared in the past when I was having this issue) and from here just click cancel which will uninstall only the Hivebusters DLC and not the entire game. From here you can just go back to Gears 5 and attempt to play the Hivebusters DLC which will prompt you to download it again and thus removing the error.

    Hi FR1EDP1CKLE,

    I believe your received that error code do to Xbox servers are undergoing maintenance or the Gears 5 servers are undergoing maintenance. They should be up and running, I have had the game update on my pc and console recently with no issue relating to the
    error code you and other have received.

    If you are still having trouble with this I would suggest keeping an eye on the Gears server page GEARS 5 STATUS and you can also check error codes here Error
