    Error retrieving my game from GFWL marketplace


    Hello , I would like to have some informations about how to download this game, Re: operation raccon city.

    I bought this game in 2012. Now I would like to play it. I payed for it and I still have old emails showing the bills, proving I virtually should have access to the game. I know that right now it's supported on steam, nevertheless i thought I coould obtain
    a key code to download it from steam. How should I go about ?

    I tried installing GFWL marketplace, but then this error struck me: error while retrieving shopping histoy: disconnect and try again later.

    Tried this for a while now,, but nothing ever happens. Please help!

    GFWL Client Error - "There was an error retrieving your purchase history"

    I'm encountering this as well when trying to download & install DLC for Fable 3. Initially, it would give an instantaneous error when I tried to download in-game or if I launched GFWL. So I uninstalled both Marketplace and GFWL-Redistributable, and then
    installed the version from here:

    www.xbox.com/.../DownloadClient

    Following this, launching the game led to it updating the GFWL client again.

    This resolved the instantaneous connection failure, but that was replaced by downloads just being stuck at 0% in-game and getting the "There was an error retrieving your purchase history." error in Marketplace.

    I've tried launching Marketplace as Admin, but that has no effect. And I'm already running Windows 7 so Win 7 compatibility mode wouldn't make sense.

    I hope a solution to this is still being sought! Thank you.

    Bought game add-on but cannot download via GFWL marketplace!

    Ok i bought SSF4 costume pack but when i go to GFWL marketplace it says "There was an error retrieving your purchase history. Please sign out and try again later" If i bought something shouldn't i be able to USE it?

    GFWL Marketplace - An unknown error has occurred when retrieving keys

    No, I am not getting an error at the top. My purchase history updates fine. I have 130 pieces of content attached to my account and when I open the GFWL Marketplace client, it will count through all 130 pieces and add them to my client.

    The only error I am having is with the key retrieval. It gives me that same error for every piece of content.

    GFWL still doesn't work for me. Get the run around from tech support regarding this issue and nobody I talk to at Microsoft even knows what GFWL is. Funny how paying customers get *** these days. I'm getting the 'Failed to retrieve purchase history....'
