Error Redeeming 12M XBOX Gold

Discus and support Error Redeeming 12M XBOX Gold in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have tried to redeem a 12 month XBOX GOLD Live membership through my XBOX 1 and online on xbox.com and both systems give me this error.     Error Redeeming 12M XBOX Gold


    I have tried to redeem a 12 month XBOX GOLD Live membership through my XBOX 1 and online on xbox.com and both systems give me this error.

    Can't redeem code/buy Gold

    I tried buying 12M Gold yesterday via Xbox One but at the end I got a Something went wrong error.

    I went to my profile on xbox.com, my account, and tried buying 12M Gold from there too...same issue.

    Bought 12M Gold off Amazon, tried redeeming via my account at xbox.com and still the same error.

    Also tried redeeming code via Xbox One to no avail.

    Tried search engine but no results for the error code.
    The xbox status page says no outstanding issues.
    Twittered xbox support yesterday and today but no response.
    Anyone able to offer assistance?

    I checked my gold tenure on the link eG x Thee Elf posted and mine says

    Prepaid 12M Xbox LIVE Gold this one isn't canceled

    Prepaid 12M Xbox LIVE Gold canceled

    Prepaid 12M Xbox LIVE Gold canceled

    Prepaid 12M Xbox LIVE Gold canceled

    gold 1 month free trial canceled

    but yet I have no number next to my name

    Remeeming errors can be caused by issues on the account itself. Be sure to check if your billing information is correct at
    http://billing.microsoft.com and also check
    http://account.microsoft.com/services for any outstanding amount issues, these need to be sorted prior to being able to redeem codes.

    After that try redeeming the code on both xbox console and via xbox.com/redeemcode

    Also check that the Xbox Live account , the console and code all match region wise, using different regions for any of them cause issues too.

    If you can't find anything wrong and it is still not working, best thing to do is to contact official Xbox Support via twitter @XboxSupport, Phone or Microsoft Support Chat at

    Contact Us | Xbox Support they can do a more indepth look into this issue.

    I get the same format error code when I try to redeem a 12M GOLD - will try again later.
