Error Oxc000006D in Xbox Store

Hi,

I pre-ordered Space Engineers, with hope of playing with friends on the Xbox Insider Hub Closed Beta. Unfortunately I cannot reinstall the Xbox Insider Hub due to error 0xc000006D. I recently started receiving error 0xc000006D whenever I try to open a game
or app located in the Xbox Store. This also prevents me from downloading/installing anything previously owned that isn't currently installed. However I can download games to my Xbox using the companion app on my PC. I can also play any games or app that is
installed on my Xbox.

0XC000006D - Description: This is either due to a bad username or authentication information.

I attempted a few things solve the issue but have run out of ideas. I did a hard reset of my internet modem/router. I manually entered the MAC address. I've tried searching community forums for help but I've found nothing specifically related to Xbox.

Im getting the same error too and tried everything you did but also its happening on my windows 10 store. They need to hotfix this quick :/

Hi again, I totally understand the store cant be uninstalled I have another link that worked for me in the past, is there an update for the Microsoft store in your download que ?

I am sorry that you are having problems with the store and my colleagues' links have been unhelpful (infact misleading and non-existent).

The problem is known with the Microsoft and the solution is to reset the store, however, on the Xbox this solution is a little obtuse.

First solution is to go to the settings selection and reset (but not factory reset) to your Xbox from the menu. That has been enough for most people.

If not you will need to do a hard reset. Power off the box by holding the front panel button for 10s, unplug the unit for at least 10s. Then power up.

Between the two, the success rate is nearly 99.9%. Keep in mind this procedure. It is used to fix a many problems that are related to setup, settings and stored data. It will not erase your games or affect your data on the cloud. Try to avoid a factory reset
because you will have to download the games that are on your internal drive again. That brings up another point. An external drive for your games is recommended and the risk of an external drive going bad is the same or less than the internal (depending on
the drive you get though).

Let us know how this turns out. There are a few other solutions but they can get tricky to implement. I believe this will work.
