Discus and support Error on skype app in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; If u are on a call on skype and u puts cable in ur controller so i makes a little reset or u take out the cable it will disconnect ur call on skype....     If u are on a call on skype and u puts cable in ur controller so i makes a little reset or u take out the cable it will disconnect ur call on skype.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the response but this is of no help to me as i have already carried out the following steps to try and resolve this concern myself prior to posting in this forum.

    -I deleted the app, restarted my console, reinstalled the app, attempted to launch the app, same error after signing into the Skype app it comes up with a error skype currently not available. For the record my sign in details are correct.

    -Then i tried uninstalling the skype app again, restarted my xbox one, reset all the settings to factory on my console, reinstalled the Skype app, still comes up with error message skype currently unavailable.

    Skype app will not launch.

    Since receiving a message from microsoft to update the skype app on my xbox one to the latest version on the microsoft store which i did the skype app will no longer launch it keeps on coming up with a error saying that skype is not currently available!!!

    Anyone else experiencing this issue?

    Same happens to me. My Skype calls drop anytime my controller is disconnected whether I plug in the USB cord or my batteries run out.

    Can't Snap Skype.....

    Currently Skype for Xbox One doesn't support snapping. Check the section "I’m missing a feature in Skype for Xbox One. Where is it?" in the FAQ here:

    support.xbox.com/.../skype-faq

    You can snap other apps like IE, Music and Video to the running Skype app though.

    This is not an xbox one issue this is a skype app issue you do not need to hard reset your xbox ones this again is an skype app issue skype is having problems i called tec support and there aware of the problem. Again a skype app issue. Not an xbox one issue.
