    how do I clear an error on my billing. I cannot buy xbox live as it is reflecting I bought xbox live on the 4th of October via the site, which I have not done. now sitting with a past due amount and cannot buy again. will it affect me if I buy voucher
    from a shop? and how do I clear this?

    Hi, i checked my billing account the other day and noticed i have been charged for a gamer tag that is not even me or associated with me in any way.

    Can this be looked into please and rectified.

    Your best bet is to contact
    Xbox Live Support    , as they can see your account. First, you may want to look at your purchase history on the
    Microsoft Account website. Look there (under Payments & Billing) and also at Services & subscriptions.

    When you do contact Support, you may be prompted to speak to a virtual agent. Decline that, and then you should see other options, like getting a free call-back or being able to chat live with a Microsoft employee.

    If so, suggest you contact a Billing Agent. You can choose Option 1 after finding your country's support line: See

    but a faster way to speak to a Billing Agent is to go to

    http://support.xbox.com/contact-us?xr=footnav#0:2:5



    Click on Request A Call and type in a few lines explaining your issue and you will get called back quicker than if you waited in queue on hold.

    First question: WHY? Why would you do a search for an available gamertag if you did not intend to truly OWN it when it was actually available? Second question involves the controller you used, more specifically: Does your left thumbstick move on its own?
    Because I know for a FACT that in order to make a purchase you must use it.
