Error on Among Us game only: ox87e0000d

I'm trying to download Among Us from Game Pass and I get the error in the subject line. It says to "check your connection."

I have not only re-started the Xbox One, but I have also downloaded another small game from Game Pass without issue. Therefore, the problem is with Among Us only (which just appeared on the game store today). Is anyone else having this issue?

Thank you for your suggestion, but after I did all of that, nothing changed. It's just this particular game, not others. I installed another game from Game Pass just to check and it was fine.

I have tried to install it on the day the game is released but it just stops and starts saying installation stopped

Yes that is odd.

I have checked and it does also appear on mine, but I guess it's been added by mistake or put on there due to releasing on the 14th December

Ok, that is fine, but why does the game show in the XBox store as if it can be currently downloaded and played? It should give a release date for XBox in the store, not state that it can be played now.

I am sorry about this, but it seems Among us isn't actually available on the Xbox just as yet:

The console edition of Among Us comes to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on Tuesday, December 14th, 2021.
