Error message on child account 'Can't view content made by other people'

My son is having problems playing Roblox and Terraria because it says his account is set up so he can't view content created by others. I have seen on these forum pages that I need to change the settings on his account so he can 'See and Share Content',
but these are old posts and this option doesn't exist in settings anymore. Any ideas on what the settings are NOW that I need to change?

Thank you for posting on the Xbox Forums my suggestion is try and change the parental control to adult account instead of the child account.

You need to change the account settings so they can communicate and share content.

Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue trying to let your children play Roblox.

We recently made a policy change following an update this month concerning granting children permission through the console and website. I would see if you can by any chance go to
Settings>Account>Family settings while you're in your account to manage your child's privacy and online safety settings. For more information on that new change you can check out our articles entitled Family setting on

When you get a chance, try going to that setting I suggested on the console and see if you can successfully tweak your son's profile there, or check out and try the steps on the links I posted and let us know how that helped in resolution of the issue.

Are either accounts child accounts?

I've seen this be the issue causing this sort of thing a few times.

Also are there any errors or messages when you try to join other peoples worlds?

If you are trying to start ROBLOX and you will see ERROR -> "To do this change settings. You cannot see content other people make because of how your account is set up", then you should do this:

1. Go to Settings.
2. Select Account.
3. If you want change your own account settings, skip to step 5. But if you want to change your child´s account settings then select Family.
4. Select your child's account to change settings.
5. Now select Privacy & online safety.
6. Select View details & customise.
7. Now go to "You can see and share content" and change it to Everybody.
8. Done, your child can now play Roblox.

But nowhere can i find the specific reference to number 7.
