    I want to change my privacy settings and I am on PC from my Microsoft account however when I go to Xbox privacy settings for some reason it redirects me to the Xbox support site every time, I want to change my privacy settings so I can play Forza Horizon 4
    online mode and talk to my friends, message and go into their parties and invite them to mine.

    changing online safety or privacy settings on Xbox One    " contains information on how to change the privacy & online safety settings through a browser. This also applies for Windows 10. Once you access the settings, you will see an option that states, "Xbox
    One/Windows 10..." Be sure to let us know the results!

    Hi Oliver,

    If when you set the account up, you put a birthdate that is currently under the age of 18. The site will read it as a child account. You may change the birthdate on the Microsoft site, unfortunately, you are unable to on the Xbox site. Also, if you are in
    a family and set as a child with an adult account this could cause this error.

    • With the first option, you would need the parent account to log in and adjust the settings.
    • With option two, all you need to do is leave the family. However, if you do in fact have a child account you will orphan the account.
