UnwaryCoin9457, I am very sorry for the problem that happened with your console, I am afraid that I must inform you that Microsoft no longer provides service to the generation of Xbox 360 consoles for 4 years now, you should try to locate the original hard drive you need, as well as the cable, through online pages such as Amazon or Ebay, since Microsoft does not sell any of these parts.

A local electronics or console repair shop can also be used to transfer your data from the old hard drive if it is in good condition.

Unfortunately it sounds like you'll need to replace your HDD if the above steps didn't help. If you're continuing to get the E69 error and
this Troubleshooter doesn't help, your best next step is setting up a repair for your Xbox 360 as it's suggested. Really sorry to hear about

Apologies but it does seem your hard drive has a hardware failure. Please refer to step 2 in this support article titles,

"Error code E69 occurs when using your Xbox 360 console", which states that if your console turns on without the hard drive in then the HD has a hardware failure and will need to be replaced.

There are some other solutions on that webpage but if a new hard drive does not solve the issue then the console itself will need to be repaired or replaced.

This means that there's either an issue with the Hard Drive, or the pieces that read the Hard Drive. You may need to replace it, or call 1-800-4MY-XBOX to see if you can get your Xbox looked at and possibly repaired.

Try using a friend's HDD if possible, if it works, then yours is busted.

It could be a problem with the Hard Drive itself or a problem with the internal connection to the hard drive. Try removing the hard drive and putting it back in and make sure it's seated properly. If that doesn't work, then remove the hard drive and use
a USB Flash Drive. If it works with that then it's possible that your hard drive or hard drive connection is bad.
