    Error during new game start - 0x80073cf6


    Hi there, I first tried to install the youtube app, and install kept failing due to unknown error. Then after repeatd tries install worked but app does not even start and gave the error code 0x80073cf6. I gave up, bought the game NBA LIVE18 and after a successful
    long download install, during new game first start I got the 0x80073cf6 error again. Google said something about package registration error. Any fix? Please Help!!!!

    0x80073cf6 - I am getting this error message when trying to start the Netflix app. Started doing this a couple weeks ago. I have uninstalled/reinstalled, unplugged xbox and plugged back in still get the error message.

    This is starting to grind a bit. What's the point in having error codes if xbox claims there's no support for them!?!

    Thank you for your post. I understand you are experiencing an issue with launching Forza Horizon, if you are playing on an Xbox One, please try performing a

    power-cycle    . If you are on a Windows 10 PC, try restarting your computer.

    Hello @AwsomeEric! I hope that you are doing well today!

    Since you have already tried restarting your console and reinstalling the game, I would suggest preforming a Soft Factory Rest by selecting Reset and keep my games & apps. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data that can cause this issue without deleting your games or apps.

    To Reset your console, Select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps.

    Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

    Please give it a try and let us know how it goes!
