Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to hopefully get your console to work at a more preferable speed and to play your games normally. I can understand how concerning this could be for anyone. If the previously posted troubleshooting steps
did not resolve the problem, this could be stemming from some sort of problem connecting from your wireless network.

When you get a chance, try testing your Multiplayer connection and see if you get

any error as well as try connecting to another network.

If your network is connected appropriately, your console might be in need of service. If that is the case, you can always go to

device support and create a repair order, or
contact support to have an agent help you with one directly.

Still having same issue.

Also, I was able to Reset and keep my games & apps, but still getting that error.

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are running into difficulties with your console not running at optimized speed.

In regards to this matter, if performing a
power cycle is not helping resolve this matter, then the next thing I would recommend would to reset the operating system [OS] of your console by performing soft

factory reset.

This can be done by following these simple steps:

1. Press the Xbox button
   to open the guide.
2. Select System > Settings > System > Console info.
3. Select Reset console.
4. On the Reset your console? screen, you'll see three options:
   • Reset and remove everything. This option resets the console to factory settings. All user data, including accounts, saved games, settings, home Xbox associations, and all games and apps will be deleted. You should use this option when selling
     or gifting the console to someone else. You should only use this option as a last resort in some troubleshooting cases.
   • Reset and keep my games & apps. You should use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps. This will save you from downloading
     or reinstalling the large game files. In some cases, if a corrupt game file is causing the issue you're troubleshooting, you may have to choose
     Reset and remove everything, but you should always start with
     Reset and keep my games & apps and save Reset and remove everything as a last resort.
     
   • Cancel. To back out of this screen, simply select the
     Cancel button. No action has been taken at this point. This is a safe exit from this screen.

Please, keep in mind that this will remove all accounts on your console as well as any Home Xbox associations, so be sure to have the email and passwords of the accounts you wish to recover.

Here is a link for an offline update. Don't want you to do the
offline update, would like you to get to step 4. This is pulling up the troubleshoot menu. You can then select reset console from this.

1. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.
   
2. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.
3. Press and hold the BIND button (located below the Xbox button on the console) and the
   EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the
   Xbox button on the console.
   Note The Xbox One S All-Digital Edition does not have an
   EJECT button. You can bring up the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter on this console by holding only the
   BIND button (steps 3 & 4) and then pressing the Xbox button
   .
   
4. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.
   
5. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the
   BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.
6. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.
