Error code on Xbox One 'xbox video' for episodes of the 'The Americans'.

The actual televised release of Fairy Tail did have 48 episodes in the first season. However, the episodes on Xbox Video are the English dubs, which released in North America in box sets of about 12 episodes per set.

Our seasons on Xbox Video reflect this North American release with each Season representing a box set at 12 episodes per Season.

You are not the only one getting this error code. Xbox Video on Windows 8 is so finicky. If I close my laptop lid, the download starts over. If I pause it, the download starts over. I have 3 Episodes of Season 6 of Breaking Bad that are giving me the same
error code, but other episodes of other shows are doing just fine.

All in all, such a painful process, because even if I don't get this error code, it often restarts without any error code.

This should be resolved now, you might need to try refreshing your purchase history.

I'm taking a look into this, can you confirm which episodes you're unable to play? I believe I've located the issue with Episode 6, and I'm working on getting it fixed.

I generally don't download the videos I purchase to my Xbox 360, due to the issue of space requirement.

I'm getting the playback error when I attempt to stream the video on the Xbox 360.

On Windows 8 in the Xbox Video App, I was able to download all of the season no problem.

However, I did run into an issue with the first episode again.

When I attempted to watch the episode on Windows 8, the video was chopped into only a corner of the screen.

It was chopped into the upper left hand corner of the screen, if you can understand what I mean.

Only 25% of the actual picture was available.

I shut down the app 7 restarted my PC to see if the issue persisted after a restart.

Upon re-launching the app and trying again the issue persisted still.

So what I did next was skipped to the end of the episode, the episode now shows as it has been viewed fully.

Once I restarted my PC again and tried again to start the episode, this time the video didn't even start playback.

Now I also get an error on Windows 8 for the episode, that error is as follows...

"Can't play.

Make sure your video cable and TV both support HDCP copy protection. Also, check with the maker of your computer's video card to see if there's an HDCP-compliant driver for it.

This is a very strange error to appear in my opinion.

As I've never in my past viewing on the Xbox Video app on Windows 8 had this happen.

After that error popped for that episode, I'm now getting Can't play prompts for all of my other videos I've purchased and downloaded.

I's a different error code for the other videos however.

"Can't play.
