Error Code 87E0000F Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin

I bought this game while it was on sale about three weeks ago and every time I try and download the game it comes up with installation stopped. I have tried every method that I've seen on other posts with similar problems but none of them worked. There are
at least 6 other people with the same problem as I've seen them in the review section of the game giving 1 star reviews. This leads me to believe that somethings wrong with the game but if it's my system then I would gladly try any methods I can get. I should
also mention that I've tried installing other games and they downloaded without any issues.

Here's a list of things I've tried:

Trying to install over 30 times

Pressing install from the Microsoft Store and from another device

Doing a console reset keep games and apps

Holding the power button for 10 seconds

Unplugging the power and leaving it for a few minutes

Resetting my console over ten times

Clearing local saved games

Hello Daffodil,

The dark souls 2 scholar of the first sin is dark souls 2 definitive edition. In description states has all of dark souls 2 content released to date and much more. So the regular dark souls 2 edition will not become backward compatible.

Although could be wrong, as there is a dark souls remastered that is dark souls 1 out for Xbox one.

Are you on Vanilla (Dark Souls 2 360), or Scholar of the First Sin?

I am unsure they will since Dark Souls 2 Scholar of the First Sin is on the One.
