Error code 807B01F4

I am getting this error code when trying to add the two free games with gold for xbox one, via my xbox 360 console.

I can download the 360 game, hitman blood money, no problem, but get the above error on the other two.

When i try and add them to my account for future use via my pc, it just shows me the price, instead of saying they are free.

I do not have an xbox one console yet.

I have tried the solutions on the microsoft support site, reset the console, check the internet connection etc.

Xbox services are all up and running.

I have issues downloading updates for games and I'm getting error code 807B01F4 again.

 

So the store not showing that the items as "Free" would be indicative of it not recognizing an active Xbox Live Gold subscription. I'd recommend logging into account.microsoft.com and checking the Services and Subscriptions tab and ensure that your Xbox
Live Gold subscription is listed as active and up to date. You can also check if there are any other payment or billing issues, which there should be notice in the Payments & Billing sections or in the Subscriptions tab.

If everything looks good there, then you might want to verify that you are properly signed into the webpage during the process with the account that has an active Xbox Live Gold Subscription.

Let us know if your Gold sub is listed as active or if you have other questions.

Have you tried redeeming them through the xbox website that might help

 

It is listed as active, i can download the 360 games with gold no problem.

I have no billing issues and am fully signed in.

I can click on the free xbox one game, it comes up with the box that says "get for xbox one", then the confirm screen, but then the error appears.

So to understand what it is that is trying to be done is that you are trying to download the two free games with gold for Xbox One on an Xbox 360?

I believe the error may be related to the difference in the store and marketplace for Xbox One games and Xbox 360 games. It may be that you will need an Xbox One to download those free games to your account as you can download the 360 game with gold but
not the Xbox One games. Also the 360 is not capable of downloading games for the Xbox One so that's another reason why it's giving you the error because the game needs to download to be applied to the account. That may just be how it is set up by design.

We have always been able to add the free xbox one titles to our download history via both the xbox 360 console and PC, so they can be used on the xbox one if and when we purchase one.

You don`t actually download them on the 360 you just "get them for xbox one"

They basically get added to your purchase history so you don`t get charged for them when you "re-download" them.

I have already stated that i have tried all the options on the support page and explained that the free games appeared with prices on the website.

And to note, i am able to play online, download the 360 game with gold and buy deals with gold, so my account is recognised as gold.
