Error code 80153003 when Downloading Halo 4 Map Packs from Map Pass.

I have the same issue, even tried removing the hard drive and using a usb pen, using a wired connection, re-downloading my account, nothing works. The error message also appears when i want to delete an old payment option for an old credit card. I have a
downloaded version of Halo 4 and I have never moved region (UK). I don't think it's a hard drive issue because other downloads work fine for me, even the champions bundle DLC (separate from season pass) works.

Error 80153003 Modern Warfare 3

Hello,

I bought a map pack for Modern Warfare 3 and when I download the 80153003 error that appears. The download goes up to 99% and a message appears "download failed". I tried the method on this page Erreur 80153003 | Erreur lors de l'achat ou du téléchargement de contenu Xbox Live sur Xbox 360
and nothing works.

What can I do to get my map pack.

does this include dlc? like map packs.? im about to turn 17, cod map packs i will get with the season pass, but halo 4 im concerned about.

 

I got a reply on the Halo forums saying that it's being sorted out! Sit tight!

Same issue. Just bought Halo 4 Game of the Year edition which comes with the map pass for downloading all 3 map packs for free. When I go to the in game halo 4 marketplace to download them I have to download them to my usb flash drive since I only have the
4GB Xbox 360 E. However every time i hit confirm purchase i get that same error message. I tried clearing the cache, downloading to both the xbox 360 memory and the usb memory and nothing works, its weird though the downloads for all 3 map packs still show
up under active downloads but once they hit 99% they keep jumping back to 97% then saying could not download "map pack name". This is very frustrating! My guess is that all the halo 4 files have to be together for the map packs to download correctly? But even
then it does not seem to work. Any ideas?

 

Seems to be the same problem as with Modern Warfare 3 DLC. We have discussed this issue in these threads:

Are these somehow linked or is it just coincidence that both of these games are acting similarly?

 

They might be tied together. This definitely seems like an error with xbox live and not everyone's console suddenly gone mad. Lets just hope support can figure it out soon.

 

I also purchased the War Games map pass recently and continue failing to finish the downloads while posting this. The same error message with 80153003 pops up after 99% download is reached. The withdrawal of money from my bank account for purchase was completed
however. A fix/update would be appreciated.

 

I'm having this exact same issue but with the Darksiders2 season pass. Was recently offered as a deal of the week so I bought it from the marketplace no problem. However when I try to download the content from in game I get the 80153003 error. None of the
cache clearing works. This is the only time I've seen this problem and have purchased plenty of other season passes. Very annoying!

 

It's been almost two weeks now since I purchased this and still not working. I only have a one month gold membership so this $25 will be a pointless spend very soon.

Am I able to just get a refund on it?
