Error Code 8015006

Hello, I recently bought a Xbox 360 and setup a new account on it, when I bought a game off the marketplace and started to play it, it immediately disconnected me from xbox live and refused to let me reconnect.

As it said to, I tried to redownload my xbox profile to see if it would fix it, but that only caused the problem to become worse, now a error code that i've never seen before keeps on popping up (error code 8015006).

Does anyone know how to help?

I am sorry to know about your issue; However, we have multiple detailed troubleshooting steps for this matter on the official Xbox website to help you take care of it. Before going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned on the link I was referring to, I would like you to go through the following steps to clear your Mac address and then perform a quick power cycle on your console:

Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

Another thing you should check is your NAT type. I would like you to check your NAT type if open because that could sometimes interfere. to check for the NAT type you can follow the steps below:

Settings > Network Settings > NAT type => It should be open.

If the NAT type is not open, you will need to open some ports with your internet provider. These ports must be open for Xbox Live to work: Port 88 (UDP) Port 3074 (UDP and TCP) Port 53 (UDP and TCP) Port 80 (TCP) Port 500 (UDP) Port 3544 (UDP) Port 4500 (UDP).

this is happening to me also, but my error code is 0x80a4001b

But when I put the code in to the error code search it says there's no error code like that.

Same error code 0x800488fc, got an error code for the error code.

I don't remember exactly the error code but it started with 801 and error occurred. I will try to contact Phone Support as soon as I can but I will try what Xbox Support said to me on Twitter as well.

I looked over the error codes and I limited to the ones I think it was.

I can't pinpoint the exact one since they are all similar.

(My payment option did work, it was paid through my Microsoft Account)
