Error code 800700E when downloading purchased content

I downloaded the last 5 games with gold via xbox.com with my laptop. Normally they appear in the download list on my 360. This time the list was empty. So i went to the download history but it says "content not available" on all 5 games + error code 800700E..

Any ideas how to fix this?

i am trying to download magic 2013. I got an error message at first, then i cleared the marketplace data and system cache, the i restarted my system, then when i went to try downloading it again it just had 'play trial' and 'delete'. i hit delete and now
there is only 'rate' and 'pin to dashboard' available. i am utterly certain there isn't a problem downloading with my connection as i just finished downloading the borderlands 2 season pass content as well as the diablo 3 demo. i cant remember the original
error code for certain but i think it was either 800700e# or 700800e# (i dont remember the number that is supposed to take the place of the pound sign). please help.

 

I think you may have missed a digit in that error code. Xbox error codes have 8 digits on them. I believe the code linked below belongs to you.

Yep, there s one digit missing. It´s the code u posted but that topic doesn´t really help at all. Tried the 3 steps but nothing worked.

Somehow my console dashboard is now in german (i am from germany) although i set locale to uk and language to english. I haven´t been online for a while on my 360, that´s why i downloaded the games with gold from my laptop. Did MS make any changes on the
service? Cos it really sucks having the dashboard in german and the rest of the menus in english.

 

Could it be possible that i should have downloaded the games directly with my 360 in the period the games are with gold? Now for example Viva Pinata is 15$ because its not on games with gold anymore. I downloaded it with my account on xbox.com but it seems
like it never reached my 360.

 

Well i can´t download SSX either. It doesn´t even start the download. Maybe they just *** up the service.

 

Alright, thanks for your replies. I now know what the issue you are having is. You live in Germany but have the console set to UK. This means that you are seeing the UK deals and attempting to download them. This is what's causing your issues with the
system. Some content cannot be downloaded from a different IP address than what it was intended for.

Set your console (and gamertag if need be) back to your region of Germany and you should no longer encounter any issues with downloading games/items.

 

It wouldn't have been just recently they changed it

Region locks have been around forever

Most games for gold games are region specific

Queuing the UK content won't help as your account region doesn't match your actual region

 

Usk is very specific and picky with game content and they have the most strictest of rules a lot of UK content isn't allowed in Germany that's why you are having issues

 

Thanks for the replies. I checked the games and they are all the same in every region (the games i wanted to download: viva pinata, darksiders2, bfbc2, halo reach, ssx). They are not like dead rising 2 which is banned in germany. i already tried to set everything
to german/germany. Didn´t work either.

There must have been changes to the system, because my whole dashboard was in english language couple of months ago, no i can´t get it back to english no matter what country or language i choose. Over a year ago i set my friends console to chinese just for
fun and all the menus had mandarin signs and stuff. That doesnt work anymore too for me.
