Error code 0x91d70005

So I have multiple xbox consoles, 2 are xbox one s. I try to play dvd's in one of them and I get the code 0x91d70005. I go to play that same dvd in the other xbox and it plays. How can we fix this issue. Some of the dvd's are even from RedBox. Any help will be appreciated on how to resolve this issue. I even removed and re-installed the app.

Thank you for reaching out! The incorrect region error message could be an issue with the app itself. For that, I'd recommend

reinstalling it. As far as the region restrictions as a whole, it is by design and only region-free DVDs and Blu-rays will work on all console. For more information on our region system, head on over to our

If you're having a problem with a single disc but other discs are working fine, try these solutions.

Important for customers in North America and Europe If you’re specifically having trouble with Ultra High Definition (UHD) Blu-ray Discs with your Xbox One S console:

The Xbox One S fully complies with Ultra HD Blu-ray requirements; however, we’re aware that a limited number of 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray film discs may not play on the Xbox One S. This issue has since been corrected, but if you’re experiencing a problem playing a specific 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray film disc, you can contact the customer service department of the title’s studio for support. Note that your console does not require repair or updates to resolve this particular disc issue.

Solution 1: Ensure the disc is clean and not defective

Clean the disc with a soft, clean, slightly damp cloth. Hold the disc by the edges without touching the top or bottom surface.

Solution 2: Try playing the disc on another Xbox console

Playing the disc on another console will help you figure out whether the problem is with the individual disc or the console's disc drive.

If your disc works on another Xbox console, go to the following section:

None of my discs play, or my disc isn't recognized when I insert it

Solution 3: Make sure the Blu-ray player app has installed successfully

If you can play game discs but not CDs, DVDs, or Blu-ray discs, make sure that the Blu-ray player app has installed successfully. For more information, see:

Solution 4: Make sure your DVD or Blu-ray disc is from the same region where you purchased your console

Solution 5: Replace the disc

If none of the previous solutions fixed the problem, you’ll need to replace the disc. Contact the retailer where the disc was purchased to ask about their replacement policy.

I've got this problem but I'm in region 2, saying my console is designed for region 1

I got my got my Xbox Day One console at Microsoft Store in Chicago. I got the same error while playing a DVD.

"Sorry, We cant's play this disc. This disc is made for region 1 and this console is designed for region2(0x91d70005)".

This is strange, because i live in Region 1 and bought the console in USA. Console should be able to play a disc made for region 1.

Any suggestions?

same situation over this way, so if the console is set for region 2...does it mean that my console is from europe?
