    Error code 0x90072ee7


    My nephew has an Xbox one S and does NOT have internet at his house. After visiting a friends house he received an update and has had problems ever since, getting error code .0x90072ee7 when trying to launch any app or game. I have performed an offline
    update which worked for less than a day. We have tried a reset of the Xbox, not a factory reset as he doesn't want to lose everything. This worked for a day and now he is getting the above mentioned error and saying no network connection found. Any advice
    or trouble shooting tips would be helpful.

    0x90072ee7 IS the error code. The problem is IT IS HAPPENING MORE AND MORE AND IT OBVIOUSLY IS BEING IGNORED BY MICROSOFT.

    Sorry to hear you're having some troubles. I assume you are getting code "0x80072ee7" and not "0x90072ee7" as that code doesn't seem to exist. Have you tried following the guide outlines

    Woah there buddy. Not sure how this escalated so quickly to being ignored. Can you provide some details on that, particularly not as the person that posted the original question? There are a whole team of people who would like to help from Ambassadors
    to Official Support.

    As for the original question, are you trying to play offline? It might be that it needs to check in to validate the license? I'd recommend we start troubleshooting with a Network Test and a Multiplayer Test on your console under Settings > Network > Network
    Settings and let us know if anything comes up there.
