Error code 0x8b050066. Trying to download Red Dead Redemption 2. Won't install. Haven't been connected internet in 6 months and other games download fine. Help!

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Here are a few solutions that should help you out!

Solutions found here when searching the error code.

1. Whatever you were doing, try again. Occasionally something interferes with normal actions.
   
2. Restart your Xbox: Press and hold the Xbox button on your controller and choose
   Turn console off.
3. Do a deeper restart: Press and hold the power button on the front of your Xbox for 10 seconds.
   
4. If you’re trying to use a game or app, uninstall and reinstall it.
5. As a last resort, you could try resetting your Xbox. This reinstalls the console’s operating system. Depending on your network, it could take a while.
   
6. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, then go to
   Settings > System > Console info >
   Reset console.

Thank you for keeping us updated. Are you using a mobile hotpot or home network to connect the console to the internet? We will need to check the network and multiplayer connection on the Xbox One to find out if the console is receiving an error message.
The network statistics will need to be known as well. This includes the download and upload speed that the console is receiving. We will provide steps on how to test the network connection, multiplayer connection and get the network statistics.

How to test the network connection:

• Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
• Select Settings.
• Select Network.
• Select Network settings. Any known outages will appear in the middle of the screen.
  
• On the right side of the Network settings screen, select
  Test network connection.

How to test the multiplayer connection:

• Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
• Select Settings.
• Select Network.
• Select Network settings. Any known outages will appear in the middle of the screen.
• On the right side of the Network settings screen, select
  Test multiplayer connection.

How to find the network statistics:

• Press the Xbox Button to open the guide.
• Select Settings.
• Select Network
• Select Network settings. Any known outages will appear in the middle of the screen.

I'm actually not connected to the Internet at all. Haven't been for about 6 months since I've moved to the woods. But all other games have downloaded just fine.

I think you should attempt to go online, due to the fact that some games after launching may need certain updates. I understand that you've been able to install games previously with no network. This would
be just momentarily meanwhile the game installs.
