    Error Code 0x89231906


    For over a week now I keep getting this Error code: 0x89231906 every time I join a party. I join the party and either instantly or 10-30 seconds it shows i'm connecting to the party, then it shows the whole party trying to connect, then finally it shows
    everyone connected and me disconnected with this error code. I looked up and tried every troubleshooting procedure and still nothing works. If i'm in my own party by myself I stay connected and everything is fine. but when I join or someone joins me the party
    just disconnects for me only. My Nat is usually moderate, sometimes open but almost never strict.

    Has anyone found the cause or solution to this problem? And why isn't this error code in the list of error codes? Found one site saying it might have to do with the headset, but I have a brand new headset(wired) and controller, all xbox brand.

    My XBOX One will not join parties or create parties.

    The error code is 0x89231906 when I tested my multiplayer connection it told me something about a Teredo Ip. Please help.

    Sorry to hear it. You could try deleting your gamertag then power cycle the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds till it shuts down before redownloading your profile.

    unfortunately I've already tried that. But game chat works! just tried it now with my buddy. but can't talk to anyone else in the party

    How are you connected to internet wired or wireless? Have you tried rebooting the router also? Please let us know.

    I am connected wireless through boingo, and I can't reboot the router because i'm in a military barracks, and the router doesn't seem to be in my room.

    And as of just now, the game chat disconnectes every now and then, and can't seem to stay connected to my buddy now.

    Hello Mr,

    To further troubleshoot we would need to reboot router. I understand that you are unable to and that's ok. You can try to clear alt mac address. Go to settings>network>network settings>adv. setting clear alt mac.

    ive got the same issue. I went to my network stats on my console and then went offline then back on and it says I've got a strict NAT type which should be open. Then I went off then back on and said it was open. This could possibly be your issue too. It
    seems to have worked for me.
