How to roll back Windows 10 to an earlier version of Windows

To revert to a previous version of Windows, do the following:



If your computer is unplugged, be sure to plug it into the wall outlet and click Next.



Click Start and type "recovery".



Select Recovery Options (System Configuration).



Under Recovery, select Back to Windows [X], where [X] is the previous version of Windows.



Select a reason for the rollback, then click Next.



Click Back to Windows [X].



Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the rollback.

When the rollback is complete, the computer will boot to the previous version of Windows. If you used a password to log in on the previous version of Windows, you will need that password to log in.

FWIW, I deleted all of my Xbox managed games, deleted my XboxGames folder which I had mapped to E:\XboxGames. I also noticed E:\WindowsApps, which I had to force delete due to permissions issues. Games are now downloading again.

I went through the PowerShell process and now when I go to the xbox app it says the game is 79% installed but is stuck there with an error code of '0x87e00198' which I have tried searching up but can't find out what it means

• Which game(s) are you attempting to bind controls to, is this error occurring with specific titles or all titles that you attempt to play? Are you attempting to use the controller through games on the Xbox App or other game launchers?
  
• Have you updated your device to the latest Windows update?
