Error Code 0x87e00031

Hello, I'm having issues installing a game after I uninstalled it for being "corrupted". When I got up this morning I went and turned on my Xbox to play some fortnite. When I tried to play it the Xbox turned itself off, then seconds later turned itself back on. It seemed to stop doing that when I moved the power cord to a different outlet but one problem after another. Then all of my games said they were "corrupted" and that I had to uninstall and reinstall to play. So I uninstalled every game. Well now I'm trying to install... Well anything. When I try to install a game, nothing happens. They don't show in que or anything. Like I never pushed the button. Out of all my games only two actually show. Fortnite and Tom Clancy Ghost Recon. I'm trying to install fortnite but Everytime I do it always shows "installation stopped" then proceeds to try and install it again. Then shows "installation stopped" and it does this over and over again. Anytime I try and see what's wrong it gives me error code 0x87e00031. I can still get into my apps like YouTube and Spotify but no games will install. I'm stumped and could really use some help

Hi, this didn’t work. It said it required an update followed by installation stopped.

Also when you click on the game then it gives error code 0x87e00031

If you're installing on on external storage device try installing on internal storage

This reply did not help at all. The error code as described in original post describes not being able to install games and apps, and nothing to do with launching them.

This seems to be a common problem for a lot of people since the last xbox system update, god forbid microsoft fixes something that actually needs fixing instead of creating more problems.

Would love to hear of alternate solutions on how to fix this problem.
