So, I’ve noticed for years that there has been 2 *different* instances of Minecraft on my Xbox ones, the Xbox edition and the later released bedrock version is the only way I can think to distinguish them. Recently I’ve noticed that the older version has disappeared (I just never bothered to uninstall the old one) yet there are still 2 separate instances of Minecraft in my games and apps screen. Both of these seem to add up to the same size as Minecraft should be according to another Xbox one that is newer and not having this issue. Neither of the instances will open, when you try to open either of them it says that the game needs to update however, the update doesn’t progress, I cant pause the instillation or uninstall either instance from the queue screen. When I go into manage storage and try to remove them both from that screen I get the error code in the title, which when I look It up on the Xbox website it comes up with nothing and google came up with no results for it either. I have Full power cycled my Xbox multiple times and confirmed that it is connected to the internet, other games work, it’s just Minecraft that’s having this issue.

Update: as I was Typing this the larger instance has disappeared however, the smaller one will not open and when I try to uninstall it nothing happens. The game does not show as installed in the store and when I try to install it it just comes up as ‘queued’ and doesn’t let me actually start it. Upon power cycling we are back to where we were before. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated

2. Select Settings.

3. Select System.

4. Select Console info

5. Select Reset console.

6. Select Reset and keep my games & apps

This will also help sync the data on your console properly.
