Error code 0x87DD0033 when trying to sign in on both xbox one console and xbox app.

I do not have any secondary accounts, just the one for me. I cannot sign in and the error says to try later.

When I try my account in xbox.com (in a private window) I can seemingly sign in (my credentials were correct) but in reality the webpage just does not recognize the sign-in, neither does it report an error nor does it hold any session information as though no sign-in operation happened.

A similar issue is occurring with the xbox app on my phone. When the app opens, it attempts to log in to the account and bails: "something went wrong. Pull down to refresh or try again"

Something has screwed up the centralized authentication service pretty badly.

I recommend you report it as an outage of "sign-in". We are paying extra money for this kind of service.

my timezones are already set to automatic (which means that all my clocks are wrong because microsoft does not have my timezone).

This does not apply in my case.

Either way, this service was working a few days ago when I last played (maybe a week ago, max). Now a few people have the same 0x87dd0033 as some loner like myself on an island off the coast of Africa.

I reported this as an outage but the service still says it is online and ok.

After changing "Set the timezone automatically" to "On", I was able to login to my account in webpage and xbox app in Windows PC. Will try the same in xbox console as well.
