Error Code 0x82D40003

Some games had region locks in the past. Now that region lock is no longer used you only can't buy them in the "local" store if you are resident in a country where they are banned. Now almost all of this games also work if your region is set to a country where they are banned but the 2007 Xbox360 Conan (backward compatible since 07/2021) and the original Xbox Manhunt(backward compatible since 11/2021) seem to still have a region check where the game will say "Error Code 0x82D40003 you need to purchase them" if your console is not set to a region where you could buy these games. Now clearly this is a bug and the claim is not handled correctly when the console is set to a region where these games are banned. Is this going to be fixed anytime soon or is this an issue MS is aware of but will not do anything about for whatever reason?
