error code 0x80a4001e Rainbow Six Siege

been experiencing an error code “0x80a4001e”

Before recommending checking the xbox live status thingy to me, i already checked it and it said all services were running well.

During the time that the error was happening all services did work fine but i did have issues regarding online multiplayer with just Rainbow six, other games ran multiplayer fine.

AND no i dont think my modem blocks teredo or whaterver its called.

I also did try to manually search the error code which unfortunately didnt lead anywhere as previous staff said they had no “history” about the error code.

I also reset my xbox multiple times (with the power cord unplugged) and still did not help. i also tried uninstalling and installing the game (Rainbow six seige) but did not work as well.

i should also mention that i did access the game pass menu where i tried joining using the 94% off deal. i feel like i should mention this because other players seem to have had this error after they accessed or tried to join game pass ultimate like myself.
i should also mention that whenever i recieve the error code, the game pass ultimate menu to join, is displayed in the background (idk if it has any correlation but i think it should be said)

Hopefully the vast amount of info i rambled out was enough to help solve this problem.

Please respond otherwise this wall of text was a waste of time...

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to tackle this problem. I can totally understand how this could be pretty disheartening. I read that you did multiple resets, but did you do any factory resets? I suggest trying the soft reset of the
console. It's a factory reset of the console that does not uninstall any of your games/apps.

Once you have made sure that your network is set up with an open NAT type and that you have all the sign-in information for your important gamertags, follow the steps outlined in

How to reset your console to factory defaults on Xbox One and select the option denoted reset and keep my games & apps.

When you get the chance, give that a shot and let us know if that helped.

Getting an error code which no one knows what it means isn't great. Your best bet would be to contact Xbox support if it happens again, as they have the necessary tools to help with these issues.

Hello Alfiec, sorry to hear you're having trouble with the game.

The error code you've posted does suggest a networking issue. Have you tried all the steps listed here https://www.ubisoft.com/en-us/help/rainbow-six-... for your device?
