Error code 0x80830003 on new Xbox

I just purchased a brand new Xbox. I signed into my account that I was using on the old Xbox. The only thing I have downloaded so Skyrim and and Skyrim anniversary edition add on.

I am getting this error message which states: your Xbox is out of space for saved data. To make room select a game or app from my games and apps press the menu button on your controller then select manage game and add-ons.

I am not super tech savvy or knowledgeable on this matter and am hoping someone can help?

Please try to clear the console local saved games. Just make sure your console is online so your saves are uploaded to the cloud:

Press the Xbox button > Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Storage. On the Manage storage devices screen, select: Clear local saved games.

After that, please power reset the console:

- Turn off your console and your router/modem.

- Unplug all the cables from both devices (power, HDMI, etc..) and wait 2 minutes.

- After 2 minutes, plug all the cables in again on your router/modem and wait for all the lights to show up.

- Plug all the cables on your console and turn it on.

Please let me know if the issue persists.

Just to confirm, which Xbox console are you experiencing this issue with - Xbox One or Series X|S? Please specify the exact model.

Keep in mind that there’s currently a service outage affecting sign-in and certain profile features on consoles. You can check the Xbox Live Status for progress on this where you can request to be notified via Xbox Live and/or text message as soon as this is resolved, or check the official support page on Twitter @XboxSupport for regular updates.

There doesn’t seem to be any support guides or much info on the specific error code (0x80830003) you receive, although it’s recommended in a lot of similar threads to reset your console as this should help. Before performing this (as a last resort) though, you should try a hard reset (be sure to wait at least 15 seconds before reconnecting everything to completely reset the power supply) and/or remove and reinstall your profile

Any game saves/in-game profile data can always be managed in settings, and there should be an option to clear the local saves so it would resync once you relaunch the game(s). Refer to my reply in this thread where I explain this in more detail:

I’m not streaming on my Xbox. I’m using the gamepass app on my chromebook. I also tried playing on my iPad but it still got the same error code 0x80830003

I'm not sure what caused that issue. I did a quick search through the Xbox Support page for error codes, and that one says nothing was found about that error.
