Error code 0x803FB107 & 0x80070005 - Xbox Store game download

Hi all

I purchased the Xbox game pass yesterday and tried to download Forza Horizon 5 on my PC. while it was being downloaded, my internet cut out and the download did not finish. this resulted in an error. thinking nothing of it, i cancelled the download and tried again.

it downloaded to 100% but shows as download error and i have 2 different error codes on the Microsoft Store and Xbox app - 0x803FB107 & 0x80070005

Please advise?

please also note that I have rebooted and also tried the Powershell Command as below:

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name Microsoft.WindowsStore | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml" -Verbose}

This still doesnt work.

The app is showing in my start menu as Forza Horizon 5 but I am unable to uninstall or open it. there are no install files or no programs called Forza in my PC.

please advise. I have tried this 3 times.

Installed the Call of duty season 4 update and then the game wouldn’t work so i uninstalled it. Now it won’t let me reinstall it, it keeps saying ‘installation stopped’

i’ve seen two different error codes: 0x80070005 and 0x803FB107 and tried the troubleshooting on this feed: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...ne-store/2617134f-c88e-4eb5-81fc-e4d29e5f69e3 but
still the problem persists.

Any ideas?

i would completely uninstall the game and reinstall it fresh

Let's try something simple, may I know if you tried searching for the game (pres windows key and start typing forza horizon 5) once you find it right click on it > uninstall

After that, restart your PC and give it a new try

Tried that, open browser went to Microsoft store, went to buy download Minecraft sent me to Microsoft store app said download clicked on download then said pending then downloading then acquiring license then error code 0x803FB107.
