Error code 0x803f800f help please

I got For honor with Xbox live gold a while back and it stopped working a while ago and after re-installing it I still get the error that reads as follows:

The person who acquired this needs an active subscription

This game was acquired using games with gold. Unless the person who got it renews Xbox live gold, you'll need to buy the game to play it. (0X803f800f)

This confuses me SOO much and I'm honestly annoyed, I can play ALL my other games with gold, just not for honor, as mentioned above Re-installing it did not work at all and my Xbox live gold doesn't expire until the 16th of November, next month, I am also
the one who acquired the game.

This is really getting annoying please help

Just so I am understanding you correctly

1. You both had Gold at one time.

2. You set your brothers console as your profiles home console.

3. You set your console as your brothers home console

4. You got For Honor when it was free with gold.

5. You cancelled Gold but your brother kept gold.

6. Now neither one of you can play For Honor.

7, You can still play some of the games that you got with the games with gold. just not For Honor.

So if all of this is correct I would have to guess that when For Honor was available for free with gold Your Brother did not get it and you did.

IN order to PLAY Xbox ONE games that you get free with gold you must maintain an active Gold subscription.

Even though your brother Has a gold subscription the only reason that he would not be able to play it is if he did not get the game when it was free with gold. That would be the ONLY reason that you would be getting that error message.

And also, then why are other games working for me and him?

First, check here: http://account.microsoft.com/services

Verify that your subscription is active, as expected.

If the gold subscription is good, try the following steps:

1. Remove your profile from the Console (Make sure you know your login credentials, you will need them in a bit)

2. Perform a forced power cycle as detailed here: support.xbox.com/en-us/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console
(Unplug your console, and wait at least 30 seconds before plugging back in)

3. After the console reboots, re-download your profile.

Humm this is so weird did you try contacting ubisoft about it on their forums?

 

No, this is not a ubisoft problem because I can also play r6 siege fine...

 

Yea good luck indeed that didn't work either, I'll contact them later and see if that works....
