error code 0x803f800c with active Gold subscription. Xbox One

Hi,

I have and active Gold subscription and today i found myself unable to boot any game with gold offered for the Xbox One.

Everytime i try to boot a game i get the following message:

" looks Like you need to renew Xbox Live Gold

If your subscription is current, try quitting and relaunching the game. (0x803f800c) "

I've tried everything except a full console reset (that doesn't really appear to make sense to me).

I have a valid subscription up until June of this year and even an credit card associated with my MS account... and i cant find any help topic about this

Would appreciate any help from the support team.

You only need one active xbox live gold subscription for one xbox one console.

It's not possible to redeem my xbox live 12 months gold subscription card.

It gives you the error in the xbox : this code in not yet active. contact the active merchant to active this code .

its gives you the error in the pc :

please double check http://account.microsoft.com/services to see if the subscription is showing there.

If the subscription shows, try the following steps

Remove profile from the console (Make sure you know the account credentials for the account, since you will need them later)

Perform the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again: Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console

Redownload your profile

If these steps fail, then its best to contact Xbox Support (via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat) at

Good day! The xbox live gold subscription to the xbox 360 console is not activated. It gives an error: the entered code is not valid.

Error code is displayed when trying to use a pre paid Xbox Live subscription code when your Xbox Live gold is still in effect. You must wait for the subscription period to end before you can use the code. Pre Paid subscription codes cannot be used to extend
an Xbox Live subscription, only activate it

Could you give us more infos? Like the error code?

And remember that to play in multiplayer you need an xbox live GOLD active subscription.

That's not all either, I can't even get an Xbox Live Gold subscription without a code. Microsoft's servers are a joke.

Actually managed to activate a 2 day gold code from the Xbox One windows 10 app, and lo and behold, even with a subscription active on the account, it still doesn't let me play online, games still prompt to buy Xbox Live Gold.

This whole experience is nothing but frustration.
