Error code 0x803f800c on a digital game I OWN

Hi, today I tried to open Forza Horizon 4, a game I owned for about 3 years through the xbox home thinghy and a friend of mine. My xbox is set up as the xbox home. However a notification said i had to renew my gold subscription to play the game, even though that's not a game I obtained with gold, and there is no scratched disk since the game is digital. How do I resolve the issue? The error code is 0x803f800c.

Hi, Vincenzo. The game license, probably it’s under a different account.

If you have more email addresses, you may want to check the order history for each one, but as you said you got access to the game by enabling home Xbox, probably you are game sharing with a friend.

Your friend may need to check his order history and then review if their profile has the Home Xbox enabled on your console.

Hi, the game does not appear on the order history but I think that was to be expected since I didn't actually buy the game, but I got it through the xbox home feature. Thank you for your reply

There are no error codes or anything at all. It just sits there. Eternally. I do however own it digitally. I have not had any other issues with any other games though, no.

I never owned Madden 12. But I got the Best Buy code for Andrew Luck as well and it is a 20 digit code. I tried to redeem the code in Madden 13 game and it said, "Invalid Code". I also tried to redeem from the xbox marketplace (which was in the instructions
for the Andrew Luck DLC) and that doesn't work either because it requires a code 25 digits long.

It would be nice if they would acknowledge this error instead of playing dumb. It is false advertising.
