    Error code 0x803f8001 on Roblox


    I have 2 Xbox series s. Both have Roblox installed that my kid plays. Both are in different rooms in the house and signed into the same account for a year now. Only one account on each device. Both give 0x803f8001 error starting at the same time. My kid has played this game everyday for a year with 0 issues and then this happened to both consoles at once. My internet is perfectly fine and every other option in game that uses internet works fine. I’ve reset cache on both consoles. I’ve factory reset both consoles and reinstalled the game on both. Still receiving this error code.

    I’ve already reset router and consoles multiple times. When I go to the game in the Microsoft store it says I own the game already. I don’t have the “get” option.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

    According to Xbox Support:

    "This may mean that we're having trouble checking usage rights, or that the game is no longer in the Game Pass catalogue"

    The game is a free game so that shouldn't be a problem, Devan. Please try searching the game on Microsoft Store App on the Xbox "Roblox" then check if they can see an option "Get", this is to make sure that they'll get the license for the game.

    If there is no option "Get", simply perform an extended powercycle and reset the network hardware on both Xbox consoles.

    " 1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

    2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

    3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state."
