    "Error code 0x80080206" When trying to install a game from Xbox Pc App


    Hey, i have bought gamepass for Xbox App On PC but got a problem installing a game - The Long Dark

    The problem is, whenever i press install, it starts downloading it for a few seconds and then shows "error" And in Error Details it shows as follows "Error code 0x80080206" .

    I've downloaded other games about 2 months ago and haven't had any problems as i recall.

    Edit:

    Tried downloading other games and for other games the download doesn't even show up for a second, instead it's an instant Error Message, under details the error code is 0x80d03002 . Any ides what could be causing this?

    Is the operating system (OS) up to date? Similar error codes point to the OS not being up to date. Check your system for updates to OS.

    I had this same error for Windows 8.1 in the game FIFA 15 ULTIMATE TEAM. at first if downloaded but not installed the game. I get the error 0x80080206 and just tells me you already have this app on your pc ready to install install and still give the error

    It can not be installed

    I assume you are trying to remote install a game from your Xbox app on PC. Usually when it fails to install it will show you an error below the install button.

    Can you open Store app on your PC and search for the game there and try to install from there? Also, try restarting your PC.

    Which error code do you get when trying to install the game? In any case post a report on this bug from the pc app in order for the support to verify it.
