Error code 0x80048869 and 0x800704cf

Hello, I recently bought Minecraft and wanted to log in, but whenever I log in an Xbox window comes up with error code 0x80048869 and two buttons with once "Try again" and "Switch account". When I press "Try again" the same thing happens and when I press "Switch account" a new window appears where I can log in with a Microsoft account. When I try to do this, with the exact same data as on the Xbox and Microsoft, a new window comes up saying I have no internet connection available, plus there is another error code (0x800704cf) even though I am connected to my internet connection. I have also checked if any service status is limited or has a major failure. I have been having this problem for over a day now. Can anyone please help me.

Hi Own, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

This means there’s a temporary network problem. This error might come from a service that’s not part of Xbox Live Core Services. Usually, these resolve themselves in time. Wait a while, then try launching or installing again.

thank you for your answer Lucas. I am talking about the Java edition of Minecraft. I also ran the Xbox network test and got the following results:

Connection status

Internet connection Connected

Xbox Live services Running

Performance

Waiting time 183 ms

Packet loss 0%

Xbox Live multiplayer

NAT type Strict

Server connectivity Connected

You are trying to play it on PC, right? Is it Minecraft Java or Minecraft for Windows?

Also, please check your internet connection with Xbox Live:

On Windows 10, go to Start > Search and click on Xbox network.

On Windows 11, open the Xbox Console Companion app > Click on settings (the gear icon) > Network.

See if your connection test shows open NAT and connected to server. Let me know about the result, please.
