Error code 0x8000FFFF

Whenever I try and open this game that I bought on windows Microsoft store (no man's sky), it asks me to sign in. To which I say yes, and it comes up with this error message. I have tried everything I could think of and there is not much documentation on the web about this. I tried resetting my Microsoft store and xbox game app. I deleted all of my temp files and I made sure the game was completely updated. I don't know what else to try, and this saddens me because I loved this game, and would like to fix it.

If anyone knows how to fix it, please help.

Ok, this is weird. For some reason when I did that it worked, but not fixing the problem. It checked the error code to something else...

Code: 0x8000FFFF

Mind also finding a fix for that? Thanks!

Same problem for party chat and YouTube! Any help would be great. I have error code 0x8000FFFF for the party chat problem. Thanks.

I'm Samy an independent advisor. Welcome to the Xbox community. How are you?

Press the Windows Button then type Services.

Right-click over the Services App from the list of results.

Then select Run as Administrator

Scroll to the bottom and find the following services:

IP Helper

Xbox Live Auth Manager,

Xbox Live Game Save,

Xbox Live Networking Service,

Gaming services.

Do this with each of the services listed above.

Right-click over the service and select Properties.

Find the Startup type section and make sure it’s set to Automatic.

If the service isn’t started, click Start to start the services.

Click Apply and OK to save changes.

Then try log in again, please.

I have tried this twice, once by resetting microsoft store in settings, and once the way you said. Sadly, neither worked.

Any other ideas I could try?
