Error code 0x80004005 every time I try and download a game from the Xbox app.

I even fully installed Starfield using my Gamepass and it waited until the very end to decide to not install. No clue why it won't work. It does this on the Microsoft store, too, but shows different error codes. Plus, the Xbox app wants to always update. "An update is required." Never installs the update because it always needs to update after a few minutes of being open.

I tried looking for updates for my Windows 11, but there isn't anything that fixed it. I tried clearing the cache on the Microsoft Store, repairing and resetting both apps, restarting my computer multiple times, but nothing has worked. I managed to install Microsoft Flight Simulator, but that seems to have been a fluke.
I'm out of ideas.

If you already have updated your PC, next is to disable any third-party antivirus software:

To begin, please restart your PC.
Sometimes, third-party antivirus software can interfere with the installation process. Try turning off or disable any antivirus, antimalware, VPN, firewall, proxy and PC Optimizer (or something like game accelerator).

Clear the Microsoft Store cache:

Sign in manually to your account on this link: Microsoft account | Home.
Launch Microsoft Store and Xbox app. Sign out on both apps.
Press the Windows key + R, type "wsreset.exe" in the Run dialog box, and press Enter. This will clear the Windows Store cache. This may take time so please be patient and wait for the Microsoft Store to launch.

Reset the Xbox app:

Open the Settings app, go to Apps > Apps & features, search for the Xbox app, click on it, and select Advanced options. Click on Reset and confirm the action.

If none of these steps work, you can provide us additional information about your concern:

HI Tnort09. When your trying to log in is it with the Xbox App or with a specific game? Are you also experiencing error code: 0xc00d11cd (0x80004005) or is it a different code?
