    Get this error code when trying to format a hard drive. I have 2 old hard drives that quit working with my x-box and just bought a new one. The external hard drive is actually detected which is a miricale in its self with this console. Microsoft has once
    again did not think out thus console. I am a lifelong xbox player who will be switching to playstation on the next gen. Microsoft can continue runing there console based community by catering to pc players. I am over it. I went threw 4 xbox 360’s. The xbox
    one has had multipul problems that i cant get resolved. Iwasted money on an elite contoller that broke on both bumpers, the joysticks didnt reset to center a button would stick. Not surprising with microsoft. Inferrior in everyway, dont listen to fans. They
    update the home page and everytime they make it worse.... im not expecting a clear answer to this error code, usually dont get a response.

    Did you try to power cycle the console in order to clear the cache??

    Anyway is an update problem! Could be that is from their end :S

    But when I put the code in to the error code search it says there's no error code like that.

    Fifteen Dollars lost, don't have my Map Pack.

    I don't remember exactly the error code but it started with 801 and error occurred. I will try to contact Phone Support as soon as I can but I will try what Xbox Support said to me on Twitter as well.

    I looked over the error codes and I limited to the ones I think it was.

    I can't pinpoint the exact one since they are all similar.

    (My payment option did work, it was paid through my Microsoft Account)
