Error Code 0X00000005

Hello all,

yesterday i bought the Product Key of Forza Horizon 3. after severel minutes, i also found out how to activate it. as soon i´ve entered the product key, i got re-directed to a new site for download. but (how other it could be...) I´ve got an error message:
Product is not availabel - Error Code 0X00000005.

So, i searched the whole internet for an answer, but i don´t found anything which was very helpfull.....

- System is actualized (newest version)

- Microsoft account is active

- system already restated several times

.... but it still not works... how can i download this game? any idea? I also tried to download another game - this works without any problem ...

I'm trying to play Forza Horizon 3 in my Windows PC, but when I search in the Windows store for the game an error occurs.

I'm trying to add Forza Horizon 3 in my Windows PC but when I search for this game in the store an error occurs. This error is about unavailability of the game.

If you visit the Windows Store on your PC, are you able to download Forza Horizon 3 from there without any issues?

Only the digital version of Forza Horizon 3 can be played on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC as you can see here:

Your disc version is available only for xbox one console

Yes, Forza Horizon 3 offers seamless Cross-Play support powered by Xbox Live, linking players on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC together in the same game session. This is all confirmed and explained

here.

You would still need Xbox Live Gold to play online on Xbox though. However, you don’t need Xbox Live Gold to play online on PC.
