    I've tried powershell as admin, repairing the apps, clearing caches, resetting the apps, command prompts, and I'm up to date on all apps and windows 10 updates. I do not have a 3rd party firewall or antivirus. The support subject on this issue is useless given that the optional update suggested does not appear for me and the recommended alternative does not work. Trying not to be livid and failing.

    Hey! Reporting back I fixed my problem!

    The solution in the Reddit post didn't work but what I did do was install the Xbox App. In doing so I was able to try and install the game in the App. This gave me another Error code (0x00000001). After looking it up I followed this troubleshooting guide:

    For me Solution 3 worked. After Resetting my internet connection I was able to download and install the game on my PC!
