    Error code 0x00000001 for over a year without a fix


    In the past, this error code has prevented some from downloading Microsoft Flight Simulator, and now the Xbox app decides I can't install Forza Horizon 5 because yes. My friend also still cannot install ARK: Survival Evolved onto his console, which is a 5 year old game. Xbox app gives no reason for a failed download, deciding to use filler instead of an actual error. There is no reason for it to not install, especially on my friends console, which is assembled by Microsoft themselves.

    Please check this points first

    1.- try installing the game on a different drive

    2.- check the date, time and region on the PC

    After that follow this process

    Open RegEdit as an administrator and delete the following Services:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServices]

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServicesNet]

    Reboot PC

    Clear and reset Store cache in Windows

    Step 1: Close Windows Store app if it’s running.

    Step 2: In the Start menu search box, type WSReset (Windows Store Reset) to see Wsreset in the search results.

    Step 3: Right-click on WSReset and then click Run as administrator option.

    Step 4: restart Pc and Modem/router

    Install gaming service like you would normally
