    Hey there QCKYRIACOScy! Let's see what we can do to get things sorted.

    From what you're describing, it sounds like your HDD might be damaged and on its way out. The disc read errors while playing a downloaded game (Iron Brigade) and a game installed to your HDD (CoD Ghosts) as well as getting update errors all points to HDD failure.

    To be cautious, I suggest immediately moving any game saves, etc you want to preserve to an Xbox 360 formatted
    USB drive or
    Cloud Storage for safekeeping    , just in case the HDD fails.

    Once you've done that, let's try playing CoD Ghosts without your hard drive inserted. To do that:

    • Power off the console.
    • Remove your hard drive.
    • Download your profile to an Xbox 360 formatted
      USB drive (you can use the same USB drive that you moved your game saves to).
    • Try playing CoD Ghosts from the disk with your hard drive removed (do not install CoD Ghosts to your USB drive).

    Let us know how that goes and if you still see any errors. We'll be standing by to hear from you. =)
