Error changing age in my Xbox profile

Hello Xbox, I have a problem with my Xbox profile.

It happens that I can not change my player image because it restricts me to have "minor account", but, I change my age in the settings of my profile and I still put the restriction.

And in the settings it says that I already have an adult account, but when I try to change the image of the player, it puts me the same

I would appreciate if you could help me with my problem.

Parent account

Changing the age under your profile data cannot change your xbox account from child to adult. If you have registered an account under 18+ of age in xbox live service that is a child account

"you need to be older" Issue with custom gamerpic

So, I've tried changing my gamerpic to a custom image and I get an error saying I need to be older. However I meet the age requirement, I've changed my age however that's still done nothing.

you have to wait till you are actually 18

And no changing your age after the fact won't change father times

Since when can you change your age in real life?

Once set the age of an account like father time can never be changed

Hey there, thanks for your reply

The age of my xbox profile is indeed directly linked to my Microsoft account. I just needed to wait a bit for the xbox profile age to update after changing my microsoft account's age.

Anyway, all is fixed now. Thanks anyway

Age limitations are there for a reason.

If someone doesn't put their correct date of birth in when creating their account then that's their fault.

I had the same issue & tried to resolve this in 1,000 different ways. As absurd as it sounds I can verify that there is no way to change a child account into an adult account right now. Changing the birth date will not do it either, the account is tagged
as child until the 18th birthday from the originally entered birthdate passes. Customer Service will not be able to do this for you either, does not matter how much you try.

The sooner you make a new account, an adult one, and start on there, the better you are off.

I've checked and it appears that I can play any game of any rating. I was also wondering if changing my xbox profile age to the age rating of the game may be a possible fix
