Error activation key

Discus and support Error activation key in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I bought the Xbox.     I bought the Xbox. EA Access:12 months, but when entering the activation key the message "activation key error" "unknown error". I checked the key using the account of my friend, the key works. I bought a new key but it is also not activated. Why can't I
    activate the key ?

    Activation Key/LIVE Access Code Do Not Show Up on Games for Windows

    I just purchased Fable 3 and can't play because i need the activation key. Problem is that my Games for Windows just has this message "Game Activation Key:

    An unknown error has occurred"

    Any Ideas?

    for a minute or so followed by

    Game Activation Key:

    An unknown error has occurred.

    Not useful.

    Looks to me like whatever server they used to store and issue keys is down/gone. If I'm right I'd suggest the best course of action would be to give everyone who bought from them Steam keys or similar, then they can turn the servers off for good.

    I thankfully had a document created long ago with my keys but I am in the same boat. The marketplace shows no serial keys and instead says: "An unknown error has occurred" for both Game Activation keys and Live Access Codes.
