    Does anyone have a problem with brand new xbox x that you cant log in? It takes the email, password, and then tells you to choose a gamertag. After trying 50 of them, it always gets to error 8x80a40008. On two different accounts. And one is new.

    I tried wifi and lan, restarting router and console several times, nothing seems to help... anyone had this problem?

    I'm really sorry about that. Let's choose a different issue so that you can be assisted by someone. Please open up this link, https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us on a browser. Click "Contact Us" then choose "Account & Profile" then "I forgot my user name or email.." you can input the details of your issue in the textbox. Click the next button then click "See contact options." Click Skip then there should be an option to message someone.

    Same thing all the time.. the whole day. I purchased it today and was so excited to use it but no... all pf this is making me regret my decision...

    Sorry, it doesnt work. It redirects me immediately to the xbox app download. And that i already have and it still doesnt work.

    I understand, please try resetting the console by doing the steps below in sequence.

    - Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.

    - Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

    - Wait 30 seconds.

    - Plug the power cord back in.

    - Press and hold the BIND button (the one you use to sync controllers) and the EJECT button, and then press the Xbox button on the console.

    - Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.

    - Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart.

    Note: If you don't hear two power-up tones after 15 seconds, it means this failed. Likewise, if you hear any “power-down” chirps, that also means this failed.

    - You can release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

    - The console should start and show the Troubleshooting screen

    - Choose "reset this Xbox" and there you have an option to Keep Games and Apps (already downloaded) or to Remove Everything
