Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue with
adding a payment option on the Xbox 360. Have you attempted to add the credit card to your account on a different device, like a desktop/laptop computer, tablet or other device to see if you get a different result?

Manage your payment options online

In general, if you're receiving an error message when attempting to add a payment method on your console, then I would recommend restarting the console and trying again. Please be sure that your card's billing information matches your Microsoft account profile
information as well.

If you do continue to have this issue, I would recommend
requesting a call back or chat with Xbox Support so that they may further assist you. Sadly, we hear in the forums lack the necessary tools to more directly assist with billing issues.

Give the troubleshooting a try and let us know the results.
